Connection and mutual understanding between business needs and technical capabilities is something I find to be of utmost importance, and what is too often missing. As an IT Manager and Product Owner in various different roles, I've succesfully worked as an intermediary between tech team and customer/business needs. My work history consists of many different managerial positions within broadcast media industry, and currently at Finnair working with content management. For many years I was responsible for one of the largest Finnish web sites; leading the tech team and having ownership of CMS and delivery setup.

Flexibility is a necessity in today's work life. For me it has always been interesting to jump into new challenges, and every couple of years I've had a chance to learn new environments and situations. My experience is mostly with leading teams, technical product ownership, managing projects and running daily practices with an in-production service. After a long career (17 years) in Media, it has been healthy to acknowledge that I'm quick to learn the fundamentals of business in a completely new field. In general, I am good at making things happen - in work life and through various organizations. I prefer agile working methods over traditional waterfall project deliveries.
